This was a poster collaboration with Gerg Wills done for this year’s Fête de la Musique in Lausanne. It’s a one day event that takes place all around in the streets and multiple venues across the city where people come together to celebrate music.
I was really happy to be able to work on this and was pretty chuffed to see it printed out about the place! Here’s one of them that I saw when walking by the lakeside in Ouchy.
I’m going to soon start working on a new poster. In the meantime, here’s one I’d made a little while back for The War Game.
The War Game is a 1965 drama-documentary by Peter Watkins about the unfolding and consequences of a nuclear attack on the UK.
Just felt like making a poster, hope you like it
Wanting to create a little advertising campaign, I decided I would set myself the brief of promoting Google Play’s services. Google Play, as well as being the biggest app store out there (over 1,400,000 apps in 2014), also offers music, movies, and books. Even without the more “classical” entertainment forms, the apps alone cover multiple types of services ranging from utility and communication, to games and educational apps.
My approach was to play on this huge diversity and to suggest that no matter who you are and how unusual or specific your situation is, you could benefit from its services.
